Be Seated: A Loungescape for UCLA

Design of a seating apparatus or grouping of furniture for students and faculty. The loungescape is to be located in an outdoor space, with a maximum buildable volume of 10’ x 10’ x 10.’ I generated this design by weaving a series of loop modules to form a curved field. Selected flaps are left free and raised to form seat backs.
