This project re-conceptualizes the design of a landscape— a synthetic entity containing both buildings and terrain—to accommodate an office park for a bicycle company. Located on a 14.4 acre site in Grenada Hills that presently exists as an electrical easement for power lines serving Southern California, this project rethinks the nature of the suburban office park. My project transforms electrical towers, ubiquitous across the American landscape, into branding beacons, helping to define different programmatic zones. Parking wraps around these now painted entities, freeing up the rest of the site for low density buildings with ample room for outdoor research and development.
